Come and explore areas of limestone pavement in the Yorkshire Dales on one of our guided walks . Maybe you want to find viewpoints or places of interest along your walking route. Or maybe you want to plan a day’s itinerary based on visiting the most popular spots. Either way, having a guide could save you time and make your day more informative and enjoyable.
This lone hawthorn tree on a limestone pavement in the Yorkshire Dales is a popular spot for picnickers and photographers. Perched high on the hills above Settle, it gives great views of Pen y Ghent, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. If you can summon the energy, the views from the summit of Whernside are well worth the effort. You can see huge areas of the Yorkshire Dales as well as the sea near Morecambe.
For guided walks and tours of Yorkshire’s historical and cultural venues (from cathedrals to cheese-makers), we recommend Real Yorkshire Tours.
