Home » Fingers Ridge – winter climbing
High above Coire an-t’Sneachda in the Cairngorms, Fingers Ridge in winter is a brilliant climb (Grade IV, 5, ***). The blocky, granite buttresses and ridges of the Northern Corries have a distinctive character of their own. Fingers Ridge has a pleasant mixture of pitches – an exposed stepped buttress, a steep groove, and then the main ridge. The highlight of this is the intricate moves to get between and around ‘the fingers’.
