Mountain & Hill Walking, Navigation Courses and Expeditions
Introduction
Throughout the summer months we offer guided mountain and hill walks in Eryri (Snowdonia), the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Scotland and abroad.
Purpose
Our guided walks start with single day walks, through to multi-day walks based in hostel accommodation. We also offer full overnight expeditions involving wild-camping in remote parts of the mountains. We regularly guide the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and also offer other more relaxing walks in the Yorkshire Dales, such as waterfall walks.
So whether you want your family to be guided up Snowdon, or you and a friend want to tackle some of Scotland’s more challenging peaks, then we can help.
We also offer mountain skills courses and navigation courses in Yorkshire, Snowdonia and the Lake District. These cater for everyone from the complete novice to the aspiring Mountain Leader.
The areas that we most frequently visit on our guided mountain walks are the peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia), the Lake District and Scotland. Needless to say, Glencoe, Ben Nevis and Skye are very popular.
Instructor:client ratio
Depending on the exact activities and locations, we have a maximum ratio of 1:12. However, smaller ratios (such as 1:6) are more usual.
