Home » Curved Ridge, Buachaille Etive Mor

Curved Ridge on Buachaille Etive Mor must rate as one of the most photogenic climbing routes. It’s also on one of the most photogenic mountains. The beautiful conical shape of ‘the Buachaille’ stands proud above Rannoch Moor. When views from that angle, its face has a series of huge curving ridges and steep gully lines. One of the most prominent of these curving lines is Curved Ridge.
The route breaks in a number of identifiable sections, with slightly trickier climbing on two main parts and then easier (but serious) walking in between. Towards the top, it is also possible to divert and include an ascent of the spectacular Crowberry Tower.
